YourRAGE Wins $1M MrBeast Streamer Challenge, Claims Top Twitch Subscriber Spot

Streamer YourRAGE won MrBeast's $1 million competition on Sunday, outlasting 49 other creators in a two-day elimination event that drew more than 1 million concurrent viewers on YouTube during its live finale.

The victory triggered an immediate surge on Twitch, where YourRAGE overtook Jynxzi as the platform's most-subscribed streamer. He peaked at approximately 257,000 live viewers during his post-win broadcast, more than doubling his previous personal record of 122,000.

MrBeast, whose legal name is Jimmy Donaldson, staged the competition across two days on his YouTube channel. Part 1 aired Saturday, April 4, narrowing the 50-person field to four finalists: YourRAGE, ElRubius, Rakai and SkiMask. The live finale followed Sunday at noon Eastern Time (ET).

The roster featured prominent creators including IShowSpeed, Cinna, DDG, Marlon Garcia, Maya Higa, Rayasianboy and Yonna Jay. Preliminary rounds tested physical endurance and strategic thinking before audience votes helped determine the final outcome.

YouTube supported the event with its largest "Watch With" activation to date, with more than 10 creators hosting companion streams offering live reactions and commentary during the main broadcast .

"We brought 50 of the biggest streamers on the planet together for some of our most epic challenges yet," Donaldson said in a statement before the event. "The live finale is going to be pure chaos."

The finale crossed 1 million concurrent YouTube viewers within five minutes of going live, placing it among the most-watched live streaming events in recent memory .

Jynxzi had claimed Twitch's top subscriber position only days earlier after crossing 100,000 subscribers in a record-breaking March run. The rapid turnover reflects growing volatility at the top of Twitch's leaderboard, where single high-profile events can reshape rankings overnight.

Minutes after the win, YourRAGE gave $150,000 of the prize to his Twitch moderation team , a gesture that went viral on social media.

Whether YourRAGE retains the top subscriber position remains uncertain. Many subscriptions from post-event surges are gifted and expire within 30 days. His subscriber trajectory over the coming weeks will signal whether the win translates into sustained audience growth .
