IP infringement alleged: The legal conflict began in October 2023 when Nokia filed lawsuits against Amazon, alleging unauthorized use of its video-related technologies in services such as Prime Video and devices like the Fire TV Stick. Nokia’s claims encompassed a range of multimedia patents related to video compression, content delivery, content recommendation, and certain hardware aspects.
